Abstract:
We address an optimal control problem for a microgrid in islanded operation with bounded uncertain load and renewable infeed. While model predictive control (MPC) with worst-case cost evaluation is often employed to obtain robust optimal control laws in the presence of bounded disturbances, it suffers from an inherent conservativeness.
