Abstract:
Laser beam powder bed fusion (PBF-LB) enables the production of complex geometries, allowing for lightweight, stiffnessoptimized and integrally designed components. However, these components typically exhibit low damping, leading to increased vibration amplitudes, sound radiation and reduced lifespan.
